Interesting Facts: Seneca Lake is a diverse and geographically rich region. This wine was made from several different soil types on the Southeast side of Seneca Lake. Spontaneous fermentation in neutral barrels
Eye: pale gold
Nose: medium intensity of citrusy fruit- lemon and lime jump right out the glass. Also, some nectarine, melon, and pineapple. Very fruity
Taste: Riper fruit, both citrusy and tropical. Lemon and lime still there, but orange skin is more pronounced than on the nose
Food Pairing: lime cilantro chicken and heavily seasoned fish dishes. Sushi and Riesling are a regular go to for me
Final Thoughts: Easy drinker. In warmer weather this wouldn’t last an hour. But its body weight holds up on its own or with food in cooler temps. Solid 8/10!

Interesting Facts: Kumusha means “your home” in the Shona language in Zimbabwe. Tinashe Nyamudoka, a renowned sommelier and the founder of Kumusha Wines, made this wine using natural fermentation and minimal intervention.
Eye: medium ruby
Nose: All the ripe red fruits- red cherry, cranberry, plum, strawberry. Tomato leaf and some dried herbs
Taste: Medium structure all around- acid, body, alcohol, finish. Pretty straightforward. All the red fruit I smelled with some red floral notes thrown in. I get some baking spices too- vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon.
Food Pairing: I would drink this with oven baked ribs, chicken, and steak
Final Thoughts: This isn’t for the fans of big, bold Cabs. This wine is friendly. Fruity and fresh. If you don’t like wines that taste too “bitter” this is the one for you. The structure profile is right u my alley. I can (and will) drink a whole bottle of this in one sitting. 9/10!

Eye: medium ruby
Nose: Black cherry and plum, cocoa, and ripe cranberries
Taste: Medium structure. Very juicy but its got some pencil shavings in there too- remember when we had to use an actual pencil sharpener that was attached to the wall??? Yeah, that smell. Also red and black licorice and all the black fruit from the nose.
Food Pairing: I would drink this with pork tenderloins and a chicken and rice dish
Final Thoughts: Its good. Decent. It’s a well-balanced easy drinker. For $20 it was awesome. Solid 7/10.
